Natural stone has always been a popular choice and in years gone when pressed concrete paving was more affordable then Natural Stone / Indian Sandstone was a luxury more expensive product.
Covid ensured the priced of natural stone increased for a long time but since restrictions have been lifted the prices for natural stone have been dropping. Not quite back to the old prices but enough to make natural stone one of the most affordable garden patios we currently lay.
So what is natural stone and what does it look like?
Natural stone means exactly what it says. It is not a man made product, it is a natural product taken from a mountain. There are several terms you may hear for natural stone including the following:
Natural stone paving, Indian sandstone, sandstone, Indian natural stone, lime stone, slate paving
Whilst all of the above are natural each has it’s own unique identity and style. There are many different colour blends available in various sizes. Single sizes or mixed size patio kits.
Below we have given some examples of different types of natural stone patios we have paid for customers over the years. It’s important to choose the right landscaper or contractor that has experience with laying natural stone. We visit many customers and see first hand problems customers experience when they use an inexperienced company to lay this type of product incorrectly.
